I've been making more mermaids and these little mermaid rattles.
I love the way the hair looks with the turquoise glaze, almost like seashells.
I want to continue with sea creatures, and have made an octopus rattle....but he is a little iffy so far. We will have to see how he survives in the kiln.

Hahaha! They're great! They look like a bunch of old women standing around gossiping! Especially the one with the droopy bust down to her belly!
I really like the larger one with her tail up behind her. Is that another one in the background too? It makes me want to get my clay out! I don't know why I keep putting it off.
I can't wait to see the octopus.
Actually, I do know why I keep putting it off - I want someone else to wedge it for me cos I get too worn out!!
I know what you mean UN D,
I get tired arm syndrome about every week.
It is hard work to wedge clay...but a good workout!:)
I love the saggy boobies on these ladies also. And they do look like they could get up to a bit of gossip on the sly...
