This is what happens when your studio is too crowded

This is what happens when your studio is too crowded, you are a huge klutz, and you set a pot precariously on the edge of the carving table.
Imagine the cussing and yelling my neighbors got an earfull of yesterday.

Hey Un D,
It happens often really when you are as klutzy as me. I break a lot of pieces. Most of the time I take it in stride but I really liked this one. Oh well....I will have to recreate it.

Oh, I am sorry for the break of this beautiful piece. I just cleaned my studio, and now it is a big mess again... Have a lovely thanksgiving! Roxanne

Oh no! That is terrible. Such a lovely piece.

That means you'll have to make another AND make more room in your space for everything so this doesn't happen again. :( sorry about your broken piece-it was a beauty!

Blessings,
Leslie

Ohhhhh noooooo! Such a beautiful piece too. Perhaps you can use the pieces in a mosaic.

Thanks everyone for commiserating with my klutziness!
I remade this bowl yesterday and the new one is not quite as good. Sometimes you just can't get the ease of the drawing that you had in the first try. It is frustrating but the piece is done and I will try again!

Robyn,
That is so funny you ask. My friend Melissa saw the piece on the blog and asked me to fire it for her so she can use the pieces for her walk way.
Fun!

I'm with Robyn, my first thought was.... well maybe use it in a mosaic piece, your bird would come up a real treat and still be a beautiful, original art piece.

Sorry, I should be commiserating too, such a beautiful piece, your heart must have sunk when you dropped it.

Good luck with the new piece.
