Here is the finished peacock vase with glaze.
And a grouping of crow boxes.
Then a new skinny neck bottle with roses.
and the finished???? small painting.
Is it done?
I couldn't make the hand work. and she seemed to need a dress. In my mind it is an eyelet dress, stiff cotton, hanging straight out from her body, crinkley with starch. I may have to give it more detail to achieve the feeling that I want. Or she may just need another painting of her in a full dress with patent shoes.
And I am ambivalent about her hair. I think it needs more detail but I haven't figured out how I want the hair to come out. Any ideas will be welcome!

Wow! The peacock vase is lovely and the bunnies too! You are very talented with clay-just love your stuff.
Thanks for wondering over to my blog and for the comment-I love for folks to comment and I really like to meet new artists-it gives me inspiration!
Blessings,
Leslie
I love the peacock vase!! It turned out great! I like the new brownish color of the crow boxes. The rose vase looks great! Maybe you can add (to the painting) a blue flower on her dress or a flower in her hair.
Love you,
Queeny
(p.s. I am sooooo excited about seeing you and everybody!)
Wow, the peacock vase is really lovely, and I can't wait to see the rose vase fired and finished.
Your little boxes are fun and inspiring, and I love the texture on your painting!
By the way, did you get my email?
Just to let you know, I just received a delivery failure message for the email I sent last week. I don't know what the problem was but I sent it again today, so hopefully you will receive that one.

Glad you like the vase and the roses. I'll try to remember to post the finished rose bottle.
Hey Lynne,
I thought the painting was done but a friend came over and we talked about her and off I went again. I'll post an update this afternoon.
Thanks Bindu!
Hey Gwen,
Thanks so much. I have since worked on the face. It's funny how you think a piece is done and then it just calls to you again and again.
Hey I forgot to thank Queen Crafty herself!
Thanks sweetie. Friday is a coming!!!!!
We get to frolic in the mountains. Can't wait!
