Onward and Upward...

Hey Everyone!!!
I have been a bit absent but have been lurking behind the scenes, visiting blogland every so often, keeping up. The reason I have been so quiet these past few months is because I got a little burnt out this fall season. well, A LOT burnt out. So I decided to take a wee break and travel some, read some, lay about some, regroup.
Now, I am ready to rumble. The fingers are itching and dancing to get back to work. Ideas are beginning to bubble in the old brain.
Some of you will remember that I started a bottle project last January. The idea was to make 100 bottles throughout the year, pushing the form of the bottle, pushing my own conception of the bottle. Well, I made more than 100....I don't know how many more......but I became somewhat obsessed. To get started this year, here are some images of the last bottles that I made last year.

Hey Cynthia! Still hoping for us to get together and talk about a collaboration on the treemakers. I would love to see what you would do with them.

Hey Robyn, Been lurking over at your place and you do such a wonderful blog. Thanks for all the time you spend making it such an amazing place to visit.

Hey Linda! Some of those bottles warped in the kiln and did topple...in the kiln...but I still love making them and it is always worth the risk.

Hey Jacky!
I am so excited to be back. Ready to rumble is one of my favorite sayings too because I hear that wrestling announcer in my head and it makes me giggle.

Yay Gwen! Lots of new ideas for all of us this year. Time to break out of old molds and push the boundaries a bit. And here's to more relaxing so that we don't burn ourselves out...one can always hope!

Hi Leanne

Saw your comment on my blog (OWOH) saying you came over from Linda's blog. It is a small world isn't it. Your work is amazing! I am now a follower!
