Rabbit Family
Here is the finished rabbit family. The 2 small babies are rattles and make a cute metallic sound when shaken. I have been working on more sculpture. I seem to have caught the bug....more on this tomorrow. Dinner is a callin!
They are just adorable! But they look so... sad and frightened! I think it's how the glaze has taken to the eye area. It's not a bad thing though - it makes me want to hug them even more!
I really need to get my clay out instead of just day dreaming about it! I did a bit of sculpting with plaster this week though. There's no need for firing but it's messier, sloppier, and makes your fingers go wrinkly and sore!
They do look a little sad... I didn't mean them to be. It is hard to make a rabbit's mouth, and make it right without it looking sad. I didn't want to make them look like they were smiling either and so this is what happened! I'll have to give it another try and see if I can make them look serene. Leanne
ps I know about the plaster...not much fun to work with but it can make some wonderful pieces!

They look like they have been caught in fright but oh I really really like these, they are just fantastic.
